On April 30th 2015 Rev.Andy Shaw was instituted as Vicar of the Waterside Parishes, which is St John Out Rawcliffe, St Oswald's Presall and Blessed Virgin Mary Hambleton, in plurality with Stalmine and Pilling.

Our Church which has gained the Child Friendly Award for the Sunday Club,.
In 2010 we reordered the interior to provide a multi-use space at the rear whilst maintaining the seating for approximately 200 worshippers. This latest reordering is mentioned in the article at the page link shown on the sidebar (Church History). This space has proved very useful during the church year, being used for after church coffee and for PCC meetings.
In 2016 we completed our brand new Church hall.

The new church hall is used by Brownies, taekwondo http://www.dragonmartialartsuk.com , Weightwatchers and is available to hire.
We have a lovely new ORGAN.

We use free trade products when we serve tea and coffee after the 10.30 service and we have a free trade stall once per month.
We feel our church is a very beautiful one and invite you to take a look on Friday mornings or any Sunday. A recent addition is a pencil sketch of the Church interior, by local artist Michael G Reed. This sketch can be seen on the left and shows the interior of the chuch prior to re-ordering in 2010.
